Ready To Where identified a significant gap in the personal styling market where stylists struggled to efficiently curate, organise, and monetise their expertise. Traditional methods involved manual processes across multiple platforms, clipping products from various e-commerce sites, creating mood boards in separate applications, and managing client relationships through disparate tools.
The fragmented workflow meant stylists spent valuable time on administrative tasks rather than focusing on their creative expertise. Without integrated affiliate tracking and client portal functionality, many stylists were missing revenue opportunities and struggling to scale their businesses beyond one-to-one consultations.

Nova architected a dual-sided platform that would streamline the entire styling workflow whilst creating new revenue streams through affiliate partnerships. The strategy centred on building intelligent product curation tools that could integrate with major e-commerce platforms, combined with sophisticated board management and client communication features.
The technical approach prioritised a browser extension for seamless product clipping, advanced image composition tools for creating professional collages, and a white-label client portal system that would allow stylists to maintain their brand identity whilst leveraging Ready To Where's infrastructure. The platform needed to handle complex affiliate link management and provide detailed analytics to help stylists optimise their recommendations.
The Build

The platform was built as a Progressive Web Application using Next.js and TypeScript, with a Node.js backend handling complex data processing and affiliate link management. The browser extension was developed using Web Extensions API to enable seamless product clipping across major e-commerce platforms including ASOS, Zara, and Net-A-Porter.
The stylist dashboard featured drag-and-drop board creation, automated image cropping and composition tools using HTML5 Canvas API, and real-time collaboration features. The client portal was built as a customisable white-label solution and an affiliate link management system was implemented to track conversions and calculate commissions across multiple partner networks.
